File Copy causes Reboot after Cleanup

I went through a major cleanup on my PC the last couple of days. The problem now is that I am getting reboots on my XP box. It appears to me that they are occuring whenever I try to do a file copy operation. It appears to happen especially if I am trying to copy from a remote drive, like a network mapped drive or compact flash drive accessed through a USB reader.

A couple of days ago I had a popup on my XP box, so I ran Spybot S&D. It took off some spyware I can't remember, but when it removed it, it triggered a download of a bunch of other spyware somehow. I know for sure I was infected immediately with CoolWWWSearch and VX2. I also had some executable put in my startup that caused my PC to reboot. I could load it in Safe Mode with no problem and eventually got all this off, it appears.

I can now start the machine, browse the internet and run some programs. I have run Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D and they find nothing. I have Norton Antivirus and it does not locate anything either.

The last problem I seem to have is when I try to do any file operation by right clicking on a file in Explorer my XP PC reboots.

Any ideas?

 

OK, looks like I found it using ShellExView. It appears it was tied to a Context Menu that was called when I right clicked an item. Here is what ShellExView found:

When I disabled this it appears my problem stopped.

Any ideas what this could be? Could it be tied to the file that was in my Startup folder that was causing my PC to reboot when it started?

I am pretty sure this was all installed at the same time when I unistalled some spyware and triggered some installation event. Very weird, never seen anything like this before.
