Hi. Big "thankyou" for the opportunity to receive some experienced help for my software problems on my desktop computer.

After unsuccessfully attempting to completely remove Bing and stop it automatically taking over my Chrome searches, I still have Bing doing it's thing.

However, it's from this initial unsolved problem I somehow have completely upset File Explorer and hardly recognise it's rearrangement. Especially the files now all sitting under Desktop and the list of files and sub-folders now on the right side of the screen instead of normally on left.

**Big problem on my pc is I don't have a lot of the options on my Windows 10 screen at the time, that the online helps give you to rectify problems.

When I click on "Restore Default" nothing seems to change as I followed the instructions hereunder:

"In Windows 10, click the File menu and then click Change folder and search options. Step 3: Under the General TAB all 5 of Folder Options, click the Restore Defaults button. Step 4: Next, switch to the View tab. Here, click on the Restore Defaults button to reset File Explorer view settings to default. "

The problem of my PC not having the options to follow online helps is on all programs. So I find most online Helps, unfortunately, useless for me to follow.

Right now after two long weeks of trying everything I can, I still have Bing and Explorer is mixed up.

Hope someone could guide me in simple terms, on how to fix all this please.

    Thankyou again.

The picture looks right? Is it an example of what you want, not what it currently looks like?

Thankyou Major foogoo for your comments. Problems:
    1. File tree on right side of screen under column "Name" was previously located on left side of screen.
    2. The file list is now under "Desktop".
    3. There are more than one "Desktop" folder on left side of screen.
    4. No "Options" in top toolbar.
