File Locking

I was wondering if there are any free programs that allow you to lock a file, not allowing any reading, writing, moving, deleting etc.

Neither of those programs is free, and Lock It Down only locked 1 out of the 7 files I selected.

 

you can right click the file, select properties, select both permission boxes to
hidden then go to

in my documents folder or windows explorer

go up to top where File: Edit: View etc...

select Tools

Folder options

select 2nd Tab

go to, do not show hidden Files :select this

And it wont show that File you right clicked and Hid

, When YOU want to open the file again you can unhide it in the tools

I don't want to hide anything. I've got my own computer, so I don't even need to.

I want to be able to LOCK a few files so they cannot be editted in any way.
