File Or Directory Is Corrupted And Unreadable

I was trying to transfer a video file over from my micro sd card to my PC and I get this message:

"An unexpected error is keeping you from copying the file. If you continue to receive this error,
you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.

Error 0x80070570: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I attempted error checking and automatically fix errors (which usually works) but it freezes after
about 13% and does nothing after that. I tried cmd prompt and did chkdsk /f and /r or /x /f and none
of them worked either because they all freeze at the same spot (after 13%).

Is there any other way to fix the file so that I can at least retrieve it from the card to my PC?
Is there some software program that can repair/fix the file so that it is transferable?

I've done all of that already, I know how to do it.
But as stated, when doing the error checking, it gets stuck at 13% and hangs there for hours until my computer just freezes and I have to reboot.

Same with chkdsk in cmd prompt.

 

Try it on another system, eg a friend or relatives system.
If the same result occurs, then the card is clearly corrupt.
