file & print sharing windows xp pro

have 5 computers on a workgroup with one of the computers acting as a file and print server. All workstations are running windows xp pro with all updates installed. Has mcafee security install with the firewall disabled. Windows firewall is turned off.

Everything was working fine for 2 weeks then all of a sudden I get a call and none of the pc's are seeing each other none of the workstations can print to the printers shared off of the file / print server and none of the workstations can get into the folders that are shared off the file and print server. I have the my documents folder from each workstation pointing to the file and print server and synchronizing back to the workstaions. Each workstation is now working offline.

I changed the workgroup to a new name on the file and print server and all the workstations and then everything works again.........untill a re-boot. Change the workgroup name again and everything works fine again...until a re-boot.

This is on a wireless network. any suggestions would be great

As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed to be shared.
