File sharing clients

Hey, can anyone tell what are some good free file-sharing clients that don't come bundled with adware/spyware. I thought I saw a list on this site but couldn't find it. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

i like limewire for 'filesharing'

 

ShareAzza, most dedicated Bit Torrent Clients (ShareAzza can do torrents), or the latest version of LimeWire or LimeWire Pro (Earlier versions had Adware/Spyware).

anyone heard of imesh? app thats real good to.

 

iMesh has adware and spyware (This program still has Cydoor . It also has MySearch Bar browser hijacker spyware which they re-named to the iMesh Bar to avoid being detected.) and is a Fasttrack client, same as Kaazaa and its variants, with all the same bad file /virus/trojan problems. There is a variant called iMesh Lite, with spyware/adware removed

 

Oh alright then. What bout limeware? That much better? Are all the file sharing programs the same or what

Yes.

 

Make sure you either use the latest version of LimeWire or use LimeWire Pro, as earlier versions were riddled with Adware and Spyware.

Personally, I think ShareAzza is the best, and it also handles Torrents, however as most files are on the eDonkey network, you really need an always-on broadband connection.
