which is the best peer 2 peer file sharing program that has no spyware hidden in it . also is it worth it peer2peer and is there any hidden agenda with it

 

IMHO WinMX is the 'lite'est p2p software ive ever used, but i prefer what you can download from KaZaA.

I agree...winMX WAS awesome..until they decided to limit the number of active downloads (where it will search for additional connections etc...) to only 4 at a time! that really got annoying.

the best bet right now is Kazaa lite www.k-lite.tk and if you really want to be on top of it, use it in conjunction with Dietkaza www.dietk.com

in addition to kazaa lite, dietkaza provides advanced search tools, a supernode jumper (so you can make a different connection and get more results) and also a download accelerator which is very helpful.

none of those have spyware/adware accompanying them so you're all clear.

I thoght KAZAA infects your system with spy ware and then there are the incessant pop ups. So what it a better solution??

Hey gman,

Kazaa lite is free with no spy/adware. Try it, you'll like it. This in contrast to regular Kazaa, which does have the #@%%$^*&%*)!#^. It's the same program w/o the crap.

 

Kazaa lite is basically what a bunch of hackers (in the traditional sense of the word, not the scary one) have done to the original KMD. They have nothing to do with Sharman Networks, and they actually dont like them because they have violated the terms and agreements. but kazaa lite has no popups and no spyware. in fact there is a dummy DLL file that makes kazaa think that it has spyware running, when really it doesnt! Ad Aware may detect this as spyware, but it isnt really.

but i recomment NOT to get the original Kazza, that DOES have crap on it
