somehow my user profile folder became "private", and it can't be accessed over my network. how can i remove the "private" designation so the folder can be accessed over the network.

not looking for "shared folders". looking for direct access to the folder, which was available at one point. now access/permission is denied.

    thanks

At the computer you get access to the folder right click on the folder and select properties click on the sharing tab unselect the make this folder private and move it to a share location outside my documents, start menu, desk top and favorites.

problem is, that check box is grayed out. i can't select it. every folder in the "my documents" folder is the same. i was wondering if there's a way to un-gray the check box so i can select it?
