Ok here is the deal. My server has 2 hard drives, 1 8gig and 1 250 gig. My 8 gig has server 2003 on it and my 250 is storage. I have a new parition made on the 250 to transfer the 8 gig onto. My plan is to use windows pe to copy over the 8 gig, then remove the 8 gig. Make the partition the c drive and restore the MBR. Are there any other ideas or suggestions out there?

When you make the 8G partition on your other drive, you will need to make sure it is formated for the OS. Just copying the files I'm pretty sure wont do it. If you use something like Partition Magic it is easy as you pick what you want the partition for.

Keep your old 8 gig as a slave and use it to back up your documents, pictures, music, etc. Baz
