On my Windows 7 computer with Media Center, recorded programs are saved in my "Public Recorded TV" folder. When I am done watching I delete the file. One file I deleted still shows up in the folder but when I try to open it or delete the filename windows says it is no longer there. This is when I access the folder through my "Library" When I access the folder directly from C:Users\Public\Public Recorded TV, the deleted file name does not show up.

How can I get rid of the filename for the file that is no longer but shows up in the "Public Recorded TV" folder when accessed through my Library?

I've had occasional similar issues with Windows Explorer itself. Access the folder again through your "Library" and hit F5 (Refresh) and see if that gets rid of it.

I tried pushing the F5 key on the folder and on the file. When I was on the file, the display disappeared for a split second and returned again like Windows was refreshing it but the filename still persists. Thank you anyway.
