    Hi

I am running windows 2000 xp professional ,What I would like to know is why I can't send a word file as an attachment. I have scanned a page with my logo ,header etc into a pdf and then converted it to word, so that I could send custom e-mails to prospective customers. I then took a existing word file ( sort of like a form letter) and customised it to a client and pasted it on my blank (logo, header ) and tried to send as an attachment .I got a message that the program wasn't responding  . I was able to send an attachment like this last week to another client (Is my computer dictating who it will and won't send letters to  ?) Any help appreciated

Are you using a paste special (image, etc) or drag and drop to build the file. If Word is linking the parts, I don't thing you can just attach the master document.

I agree there is some kind of link issue from the pdf to the doc.

scan your letter head again crop everything as close to the header and logo as you can and save as a jpeg.
Open word and from the insert pull down select picture then from file and open your header logo jpeg adjust it to the doc and save as a template or just a letter head doc
