Ive been using windows media player (9 series) for quite some time to transfer songs to my ZEN vision M mp3 player. Today and yesterday when i attempted to transfer music like i always do (add to now playing, transfer now playing) all the tracks would delete themselves, then the "missing file" error would come up. These files were not missing before. To check the problem, i played a song to be sure it was there, then attempted to transfer it. Wullah! it vanished.

I have no clue what the problem is, im uninstalling/ reinstaling wmp right now.

You DO have all these backed up, don't you?? If not, it would be a very good idea before attempting any transferring again.

And when you say vanished - vanished from the play list or disappeared off your hard drive altogether?
