Files not showing as deleted

    Hi all,

I had several seasons of tv shows on my hard drive and highlighted and deleted them all at once, but only a couple seasons went to my Recycle Bin, which I then emptied. The problem is that I'm not sure if the other folders deleted properly because My Computer shows 105 GB free of 286 GB total hard drive space but I'm thinking it should be much higher (possibly 200 GB or so free out of 286 GB total) after deleting the tv folders since I don't think I have any other files that big on my hard drive. I deleted temp files through IE and through CrapCleaner, restarted my computer a couple times, etc., but it still shows my hard drive as being relatively full when I don't think it is, or at least it shouldn't be. I searched for the name of the show to see if I just accidently moved the files elsewhere but nothing is showing up, is there any program I can use to see what the files are that are taking up space on my hard drive or to succeed in deleting the should-already-be-deleted-folders (which I can't see anymore also)? I'm using Win7 64-bit BTW.

Thanks a bunch for any help.

    J

Have a look at WinDirStat. The different view modes make it easy to see where and what is taking up space. :)
