Finaly upgrade my PC.......

Let say first it was NOT smooth sailing oh boy oh boy.....

First get the pc the local pc store did not have time to do it myself this times...

So first time the guy call 30 minutes later it's telling me that my mobo only
support one IDE drive i have TWO so he tell me to buy a ide pci controller cards around $30.00 but do not have right now only thursday yaark...

Second times anothers 30 minutes laters now he tell me he has receive the wrong memory only receive one gig ram has i orders 2x 512 dual channel 800 mhz.So he has some but 40.00 higher that of my original price so i say okay fine i will take that one like it's my FAULT THAT HE HAS NOT RECEIVE THE RIGHT ONE hey my cap lock it stuck !!!!!

SO finaly i receive my computer 4 hours laters it's about time i am saying to my self it will be smooth sailing after that WRONG...

So i format my harddisk for clean install,install xp pro sp1a everything fine
and start the driver install and then WHAW the mobo just crap BOOM ect...

The thing when dead so i try to re-start nothing and try everything on the book even dance around naked with a dead chicken that did not work!!!

So return the pc to the store and change mobo lucky for me has a few in stock...

So now just receive my pc again but now everything seen to running smooth...

Just finsish reformat patch lastest update and driver and install a few app...

So my new beast is tada

Pentium IV 3.6 G 2megs L2 cache
intel 945Gnt
Geforce 7800 GT 256 megs DDR3
One gig of rams
and new PSU 450W...

JUst install for 3Dmark 2001SE it only one i have before upgrade 11400 and NOW a BIG Wapping 25250 only molly can somebody say faster...

 

I need to up-grade mine but i don't wanna go through the hassle of stuff like you did.

no I can't speak a 2nd language, I barely passed spanish 1 that final was a ****. and I have to take another year of that class too. I didn't realize english wasn't your main language. sorry.

yep, you are right my first one was french then english then a little spanish and russian.

But the thing is, i am not good in all of them

for the spanish and russian it was friends of mine who told me how to speak,
men russian are tought to unterstand but i get by.....

And for the new computer still having problem with it it crash everytime i play 3D games jusdt crash to the desktop no error message nothing.

So now i have try others video drivers i am testing right now the forceware
81.95 wqhl.

Download everest home edition and post a log after you have been gaming for a while, maybe get 3dmark 06 to stress test your system, sounds liek it could be somethign overheating or a bad stick of ram if updating the drivers didn't fix it, does it do this with all games or just some?

 

i just finish testing the ram with memory 1.15 for one hours and no problem
all pass was okay no error. i will try the everest home edition and post the log and a few minutes 30-45......

And i just install speedfan 4.27 to monitor my temp at idle is at 52 Celsius CPU
video cards 46 Celsius temp in case is 43 Celsius i think they are at okay idle ???

 

Those aren't bad idle temps, a little warm but not hot enough to cause problems unless they get a lot hotter under load. the video card temp is great.

 

Okay just play need for speed Most wanted my setting was 800x600 everything max out for 30 minutes my temp CPU 65C video cards 60C
inside case 50C.

I know they 're still something wrong because every 10 seconds my screen
freeze just for 1/2 a second.

I think i have a driver issue.i need to found out what are the best drivers
for my video cards MSI Geforce 7800GT.

So i think my temp is okay ???

Has for my problem with the freeze in 3D games it was a driver issue i have
step down the drivers to forceware 81.95 and fix my problem no more crash
and freeze i am now one happy dude

 

nice, what games are you playing on that thing? I just got to try hl2 for the first time, that game is so good. best FPS I have ever played.

Not to sound rude, but, saying what Ghz one has is kinda old news nowadays.

I have an amd Athlon 3200+ Socket A (2.2ghz) (barton core) athlon xp, but a 939 3500+ (2.2ghz) (Venice core/Revision E) blows my system away!.


Just wanted to note that.

In the end, that vid card is something that I'd love to have in my future upgrade!
