Ever get frustrated when you call a company and have to go through a whole list of menus to get to speak to a human, not a machine?

Here's a helpful list so you can just tap the numbers in without going through each menu...

475 companies listed in Lev's link.
Wish someone would compile a similar list for us Aussies.

Think I'll try pressing 0 (zero) at each prompt next time I hit this problem.
    (or say "human")
0 seems to be a common solution for a lot of USA companies. Bazza

When I call American Airlines, the voice recognition never copes with my blend of UK/USA accent, so I just make any noise, and it usually tells me "Sorry..I do not understand <repeats noise> ...please hold while I transfer you to a customer service representative" :p

Me too. If I don't feel like talking or pressing buttons I just say something not related to the question and get the "Transferring" message. Bazza
