Finding people safely

Have you tried classmates.com or using Google's white pages? I won't go on myspace, but I know my 26 yr old sister uses facebook since it actually started when she was in college and a lot of her friends use that.

 

Since my husband is the membership person for both his high school's alumni association and his graduating class, let me field this. First call your old high school and find out if they have an alumni association. If they do, ask for any sort of contact information. My husband has provided the school with mailing address, phone number and email so whatever the person is comfortable with, they can contact and get information. He has gotten phone calls from people in the classes from '38 to '98 asking for information on classmates. Before he supplies the information, he does contact the people whose information he has and asks if they are comfortable with allowing him to share the information.
The membership person, may also have a contact for your hs class reunion and you can contact those people to get info on your classmates. It's a lot more diret than posting info on the web for the world to see.
