Finding software on Majorgeeks

I'm new here and a bit confused.

How do I find a specific software title listing in MajorGeeks. WHen I use the search form to search for a software title I see page after page of forum articles that mention the software.

However my interest is in finding the category which houses the title so I can read up on it. Any help?

Don't start in the forum to search for software; start on the software's main page
http://majorgeeks.com/
scroll down until you see a search box under all the types of software.
Type in the title of the program and if MajorGeeks has it, it will be listed.
If you have no idea what the name of a program is, then clcik on one of the words under the file listing and you will see lots od programs fitting that category.

If you start your search from the MG homepage or one of the file categories you'll see towards the top of the list of results "Downloads", click that and you should see listings for downloads rather than forum postings.

edit: plodr types faster than I do apparently

It also helps to add the word download to the end of the search phrase.
