finish booting(not from Finland)

    Howdy! I have to ask.. recently I restored to a earlier date
    and when I rebooted I received a small dialog boxMissing file MSVCP60.dll can not continue til I replace file , possibly ,.Tried to reboot from CD:nogood.I can get to BIOS configure to no avail. It does say its from SERVICES.EXE which is a file from Windows .It apparently is not a Trojan virus. Non the less I cant get into Windows. How do I replace that file if I cant get in?confused

    Repair install? That'll fix it, but I'm curious as to why you can't boot to cd. You'll have to for a repair install. oh and Welcome to Major Geeks!
