My issue is with Mozilla FF vs Java. I have the currant version java Java

SE 6 update 23, and the currant FF 3.6.13 installed on my machine. I have

run the "is my Java working" and the result is positive. When I open an

application that requires java, I get a grey screen that says "the plugin

for this content has been disabled, click here to manage your plugins".

When I click the X, it shows the plugin enabled. All is well with IE, and

Chrome. Just FF has the issue. I am running Windows XP SP2 with dialup.

Please advise. I have another machine that works just fine. Where should I

start looking. Thank you in advance

    Hi

What addons do you have installed with Firefox (Fx) as one of them could block Java Scripts so disable all bar Java (so when it says manage your plugins disable all bar the Java one) and see if that helps, if ist works it gives us a clue that another plugin is the culprit.

So to test which one, enable one plugin at a time and restart Fx and see if the Java site is ok, if it is continue until you find when it doesnt work and that last addon is likely your culprit, so disable that one and test again (do tell us what one you find may have caused it)

Also enter the Options menu and click Content tab and then check the Enable Javascript option and restart Fx

Windows media player, vlc multi media, shockwave flash, real player G2, real juke box, mozilla default plugin, microsoft drm, mediasream plugin, java platform se 6 u23

    Hi

Thats great news on java now working, now if you enable all plugins can you still open the site you want? if not check if the plugins you have, have updates, if not disable one at a time bar java until the site works and the last enabled one is your culprit, please name it but also re-disable just that one
