Hi, to anyone with firefox 1.0 browser--where is the progress bar that should be at the bottom of the screen?
I was told it was hidden and only shows when needed---but it never shows at all for me.
    Thanks for any information

Make sure the Status Bar is visible. Go View --> Status Bar. The progress meter will show on the right side of the progress bar (which appears at the very bottom of the window).

There used to be a bug where if a window with no statusbar was created from another webpage (via Javascript) the statusbar would "break" and checking that box would have no effect.

Not sure if that bug is resolved yet, but if not you just need to start a new process of firefox to get rid of it (or rather close the window that opened)
