Firefox 2.0 autoscroll

Ive search through past posts and i havent found anything on a similar issue. I was wondering if any of you firefox guys know about an autoscroll issue. I just downloaded and installed 2.0 and my scroll pad autoscroll function on my hp laptop no longer works in firefox. It works in ie 7, but firefox just gives me a scroll icon with no actual scrolling. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.

 

I had to download and install the latest driver from Synaptics (who makes the touchpads), and then once I restarted (whether it tells you to or not) I didn't have any more trouble in Firefox!!

After reading the IMPORTANT info on that webpage...you might have better luck at the HP website, under you specific make and model!!

Not knowing what your make and model is, I can't help direct you on the HP site, so if you have trouble finding what you need...just just drop the model name & # here and I or somebody else will help you navigate the HP website!!

By the way...the specific make and model info is on the sticker on the bottom of the laptop...don't go by what it says up at the bottom of the monitor...that is only the series, not the SPECIFIC model!!
