Has anyone noticed that the latest FF Browser (3.5) partially disables the "Immunization" and "enable all protection" in Spybot SD & SpywareBlaster ?
or is it just my weird system playing head games with me ?
I went to the options /privacy /history "accept cookies from sites"(exceptions)
and did not see anything different settings wise from the last version .
I'm just wondering why is it overriding these settings,if that is the case ?

Like DomLuc, I'm using FF 3.5 (on XP SP3) and FF 3.5 and Minefield 3.6 (on Win 7 RC) and I don't see any protection disabled either.

I couldn't figure out what might have been causing that,so i figured that i would reset the user settings back to their default in safe mode to see if that will remedy the problem, the only option i added was to clear history when i closed out,This time when i checked the settings again on both(sbsd&spyWblaster) they remained enabled this time, just to see that it wasn't a fluke,i checked them again..still enabled,so i think that reverting back to default solved it,but I've had the settings the exact same way before i reset,I cant think of what i might have done in the first place to cause the the disabling?oh well ,I don't want to obsess over it or else I'll cause more frustration for myself,so I'll just leave it alone, the last thing that i do before i shut down is to check the programs for updates, that's how i discovered the problems in the first place, incidentally,my os is XpSP3 too.

    Thanks Guys

When Spybot gets an update, I'm told it disables some of the items in SpywareBlaster.
The next time Spybot updates, go into SpywareBlaster and check.
Note: I do not run Spybot so I am only posting what others have said.

That it does ,I always check them both after i update either one or the other for just that reason. They once were compatible ,with spybot even acknowledging the presence of Spyblaster and encouraging it's usefulness
But i found the culprit that was disabling SpyWareBlaster ,On the FF options/privacy/clear history settings,When i would check the the "Data options"
segment boxes, that is when the SpyWareBlaster would become partally disabled,I don't know which of the three options or if all three are causing it yet.

While i was looking at the Wilder Security forum , I found this thread where this fella had the exact same situation as myself (230) cookie protection being disabled by FF ,Ironically ,Javacool (the Mod) mentioned nearly the same solution that DomLuc had explained...same problem , same solution ,
