Firefox Addons

I am trying to get the addon the enables the window to open in IExplorer. Where can I find that?

Thanks to both of you. I installed IE Tab but cannot get it to work. Is there something in the Settings that I'm failing to do?

 

Well, there's a couple of ways to make a page open with IE Tab.

1. Is to pre-set pages to open with IE Tab. There will be an 'IE Tab Options' function on the 'Tools' menu. Here you can put in addresses that you always want to open with IE Tab.

2. Right-click links, and select 'Open Link in IE Tab'

3. IE Tab button. You can add a button to switch a page over to IE tab by right-clicking a blank spot on the Navigation toolbar, and selecting 'Customize' You can drag and drop a button onto the toolbar.

 

I did the first and third and the URL is in the group to go to IE but it still doesn't do it. Any other ideas?

 

Well, let's first confirm that IE Tab is working at all. Does the page load when you press the IETab button?

If it does, we'll have to look more closely at how we setup the 'IETab Options'....

 

It opens in the IE Tabs window, if that's what you mean.

 

Okay, then this tells us that we didn't setup the options correctly.

Can you tell us exactly what was added to the list?

Which is the URL for the website I want to open in IE.

 

Thanks for the graphics and info. I have done all of the things you suggested and have the URL in the IE Tab Options window. It still doesn't work.

Any other ideas?
