Firefox aggravating problem...

    When I open Firefox 50% of the time a blank page (tab) appears rather than my home page.. I have tried everything to get rid of this blank page to no avail. This includes right clicking and trying to close the tab. It is just an annoyance I would like to get rid of. I have looked in the help part of Firefox and this problem is not addressed. BTW when I do right click on the tab pull down menu the close tab does not highlight. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    Do the solutions given here help.

    You might want to try disabling add-ons one by one and see if there is a conflict or running in safe mode.
