Firefox and Google toolbar help

    I accidentally downloaded the newer version of Firefox and it does not work with Google toolbar. I really liked my Google toolbar and all my bookmarks are on it. I would like to go back to the older version of Firefox so I can use the Google toolbar. Can anybody help me with this? Thanks

    I have Firefox 6.0.1 and my Google toolbar (7.1.20110512W) works fine.

    You may need to set
    • extensions.checkCompatibility.5.0 to false
    • extensions.checkCompatibility.6.0 to false
    Do it by typing about:config into Firefox' address bar.
