firefox and ubuntu 12.04

I am currently running ubuntu 12.04 and i started having issues with firefox a few days ago when firefox preformed an automatic update. My videos a freezing midway through at random intervals causing me to reload the entire page.(when they freeze they appear to buffer but never buffer) also I have lost the ability to right click my bookmarks now they read as left click only even when right clicking it functions as a left click.

The version of firefox I am running is Mozzila Firefox for ubuntu Canonical -1.0

the current extensions are:

adblock plus 12.2
download helper 4.9.10
flash aid 2.2.3
Runescape community toolbar 3.15.1.0
ubuntu firefox modifications 2.1.1 (i believe this was disabled before the update)

my current plug in are:

DJview 4.9
icedtea web plugin
java plug in 1.7.0_07
shockwave flash

If I would have to hazerd a guess I'd think the ubuntu modifications is the cause but i wont know till i finish posting and update my system as it appears I have another firefox update in my system updates.

 

disabling the modifications extension fixed the right click favorites emnu issue now all thats left is test the video freezing issue i will report back as soon as i know something

 

well it seems to be fixed with the disabled extension anyways but i had originally posted here because the issue pertained to firefox but its fixed either way now
