Firefox / Bing Issue

Google is my default search engine in Firefox.
To the right of the magnifying glass is a tiny arrow. It only appears when you move your mouse cursor there.
Click that and a box opens.
You'll see search engines. I hope google is a choice if that's what you want.
Look at the bottom of the box and click on Change Search Settings.
This then appears

Under Default Search Engine, change it to what you want by clicking the arrow aside of what is listed.

Head then to the next section: One-click search engines.
You can enable or disable any in that list. Highlight an you can also remove it by clicking the remove button.
If something you want is not in the list, click on Find more search engines.
That takes you to an addon page where it says, 3824 search tools found.
If you see something you want to add, click on it and it will install.

 

I don't depend on my memory. There is so much more to remember now then when I was younger. I keep lots of notes - off the computer on note cards, stored alphabetically and in a long wooden box my husband built for me.
He also depends on my notes. When something goes wrong on his computers, he asks me what to do.
