Firefox - bookmarks

    My PC at work was recently upgraded and my bookmarks were exported from Firefox in the old PC and imported into Firefox in the new PC. However, the bookmarks are now frozen. I can not do anything in Organize Bookmarks. It may have something to do with the fact that the imported bookmarks all have the same date given they were imported together. Any help would be appreciated. I'm working on a PC with Windows XP using Firefox 20011.

    When you say frozen, can you elaborate? Do they not work, or does Firefox freeze when trying to use them?

    In Organize Bookmarks I am unable to re-sort them from the alpha order in which they appear. Firefox itself is not freezing.

    I can't reorder from alpha to other methods, for example, the date they were bookmarked.

    If they were imported, wouldn't the date now be the same on all of them?
    I don't think the original date would be kept.
    In fact, I don't see any dates on any of my bookmarks (maybe this is something I never turned on).
