I have firefox set to delete my cache and history whenever I close it. I was hoping to recover a form I loaded before I exited the app but it's not looking good. I know where the temp files are stored and I suppose I could use a file recovery app but I was wondering if there might be a simpler way. Internet cache doesn't seem to go to the recycling bin when it's deleted.

Of course it's not sent to the Recycle Bin.
But I doubt being able to retrieve it the way you're mentioning.
Look at the "Clear Private Data" dialog box, saved form details are treated in a different way than the "Cache" and I don't think they're saved in the cache directory.

I suggest using MozBackup, a free Mozilla (Firefox and Thunderbird) profile backup software. Look if you find it in MG because I forgot where I get it from.
I think I used the official website.

    ;)
