FireFox wont Load as of 2 days ago, I use Avast and it upgraded about that time. Not sure if its related or not to my problem.

Vista Home Pro Service pack 2
    Mozilla FireFox 52.3.0 ESR (x86 en-us)

Have you tried refreshing Firefox ? Click the menu button, click Troubleshooting Information, then Click Refresh Firefox. Only thing is, you'll lose your add-ons.

Firefox wont load. Get Error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005). Click ok to terminate the application."

Try disabling any extensions in Firefox, as it works in safe mode.
Re-enable them one at a time, to see if one of them was a problem

I have Firefox up and running in safe mode. Where do I go to disable extensions?
Never mind I found it, trying to narrow down my extensions now.

Hi, you are looking through the wrong end of the telescope ;) Safe Mode has disabled all your extensions, so the idea now is to re-enable them one-by-one until you hit the one causing the problem. Then you uninstall that one.

    FYI...
    1. Backup all your bookmarks, add-ons, etc. using Mozbackup - just in case only an uninstall/re-install can fix the problem.

    2. Firefox 52.3.0 ESR is the last version to support Windows Vista and will be supported until June 26, 2018.

    3. You need to start looking at alternative browsers - here are a few.
      SeaMonkey - http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/seamonkey.html
      Opera - http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/opera.html
      Pale Moon - http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/pale_moon.html

I'm with Eldon on this ... might be time to move on. Late last year, Mozilla announced its plan for this year
    https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/end-support-windows-xp-and-vista

I finally got fed up with the increasing sluggishness of FF up thru v57 on my win7. About a week ago, I switched to Pale Moon and am kicking myself for not doing it a couple of years back. Realize this though, support for Vista by all application developers is likely to fade fast, since Vista is past its end of life date.

I did read a post by Moonchild (Pale Moon developer) that said Vista wasn't in any "direct danger".

In Firefox - Firefox button -> Bookmarks -> Show all Bookmarks -> Import and backup -> Export bookmarks to html -> create file and save to your desktop.
In Palemoon - Palemoon button -> Bookmarks -> Organize bookmarks -> Import and backup -> Import bookmarks from html -> select file created above.
