Ok...gotta admit this falls into laziness, but...what is the firefox extension that makes it appear to be IE? I've been looking at the extensions downloads at mozillat but as I'm sure you all know...there is thousands of them, and quite frankly...I'm too lazy to try and find it by trial and error!!

So anyway...does anyone know the actual name of it, or a link to it, or something to that effect!?!?

    Again...please excuse my laziness!! :)

    Hi Kodo,
Rogvalcox posted exactly the question I had in my head when I came into MG this morning and there was your answer. It was like ESP. I clicked on your posted IETab, but nothing happened. Any chance you could link to the download for the tab if there is one? Or how do you get it?

Just go to Tools>Extensions, and click on "Get more extensions, and it will take you to the webpage and you can do a search for it...but if you give me a few minutes...I might come up with it and I will link it for you.

I found IEtab very recently, before I've always used IE View to open page in a new IE window. :)

    Rogvalox,
Thanks for the link! Does this actually allow you to do things like MS downloads of updates which normally can't be done in FF?

I am currently doing a chat on a webpage that requires IE to work, and if appears to be running pretty smooth!!

I don't know about downloading windows updatesa and such, as mine is all automatic throught the system tray...and I'm not going to alter/delete/tweak IE at all since it is integrated into windows and explorer. I just tell my customers that if it is bugging you seeing it...then just delete the shortcut from the desktop, as it never fails you will need IE for something eventually!!
