Firefox Fix

    For those of you that use adobe flash and bitdefender or any security option in firefox i would recommend on disabling them for now till they role out another update.

    Sorry been at work for 16 hours.

    Hard to type this stuff up on a phone.

    Well for some in the newest firefox update i think 54 it is.Some people are having issues with flash and java and the firefox anti viurs scanner.

    The last few post i saw in software fourms seems to be either another zero day attack on firefox or there are major bug issues with the update.

    There are a lot of issues with the latest 55 as far as i know.

    This is one reason why i like cyberfox is be cause its full source code and i can modify any part i want.And have very little to all most no issues.Cyberfox is based off of some thing else and uses the same setup as firefox to use there add ons.

    Or, switch to FF ESR which is currently v 52.2 and doesn't have all those issues.
    I run FF ESR as my backup browser but will drop it entirely in June 2018 when the addon issue will rear its ugly head. Firefox will be dropping support for older addons soon so I suspect not much will work. Since the market share keeps dropping, I can see developers not wanting to waste time writing code for a browser that keeps shrinking in usage.

    Nick, I agree. The developers seem more interested in what they want and not what users want.
    Once my addons no longer work - late June 2018, I won't be using FF any more,.

    Wile, don't get too attached to Cyberfox. The guy is stopping development at the end of this year. Once I read that, I removed it from my computers.

    An internet friend likes Waterfox. The problem is that it only comes in a 64 bit version. Two of our computers are 32 bit. I guess they don't realize that people still use refurbished PCs that can't accept a 64 bit OS.

    I no longer like firefox it self due to the fact that one it hardly has any options and two to many bugs and Vulnerabilities.

    I am pretty sure there will be a community that will keep cyber fox going.Like most community's do just be cause one person does stop does not mean another will take over the coding.And keep it up to date.

    I hope you're right. Cyberfox is too good of a browser to just vanish. I've used it from time to time and have always had a good experience with it
