One would think that there wouldn't be too much difference in surfing the web with different platforms. After got tired of IE messing up, I went with Firefox (which was a efficient browser back then) which I had no problems looking at any website. I can't remember when things began to change, but I started getting pop ups stating that this site is no longer available on this browser, you need Google Chrome (you can down load it here). Then some websites started telling me that this site only supports Safari, or any other yada yada browser, accept for the ones that I have installed (lol). Now it's to the point that some sights only support Safari, but not the other, some supports Firefox, but not Safari, or we support IE-v11 or higher. Now I have three or more browsers on my computer in order to display or use my websites and programs. With that many browsers, it's starting to slow down the computer. One thing that puzzles me, is it the browser companies or the website programmers making the decision?

I know I'm getting old, but I remember the good old days when you were able to visit any website using any browser on any computer with no problems. Now it operates like a map with detours, stop signs, stop lights, one way, right turns, dead-ins. do not enter, slow traffic to the right, fast traffic to the left, and closed for repairs. I know it sounds like the world is coming to an end, but I will slowly adapt to the new way of doing things and will live to see another day.

And now for something completely different. Happy Holidays.
