Firefox Is Making Me Nuts

It used to keep all my passwords straight and accessible when logging into a site. Now it plays dumb a lot of times and i end up having to manually enter them IF I even know what it is. Lots of times trying to log in theres a button that reads UNLOCK FIREFOX but I have no clue how to do that (punching the button does nothing Sometimes it gets so confusing and ive ended up being locked out of a site because of suspicious activity or too many tries. Then i get delayed playing Verification Code Bingo with texts or emails.

I thought Firefox Recovery Code was to prevent all the verification codes etc. But all it did was that even though i correctly entered a lengthy bunch of numbers that Fiefox forced me to reset my password and then i had to orove who i was with multiple verification codes and emails.

Ive visited the forum and followed various tips how to fix it but that just created more problem. The site has me logged on with devices i no longer have but logging out of them creates more confusion. Sometimes it says im on two different unnamed android devices and both within 15 minutes. I cant tell if its my tablet or my phone or what.

Neither Firefox nor MAC OS will let me download a list of my passwords and user names.so im forced to keep trying. Sometimes i dream about destroying every device in my house and starting over.

Its so complicated far beyond what Ive said here but its so convoluted and mixed up I can no longer recall when any of the vexatious instances occurred. I see multiple copies of Firefox on my device and try to delete one ir two but doesnt help and somet>mes makes it worse. Arbitrarily it will input on one site but not the next 3 random sites. It is so beyond crazy i wanna scream.

How do i unwind this snakes nest puzzling conundrum?

If i go to another password manager wont that mean manually entering my hundreds od sites user names and passwords which i will have to surreptiously steal from apple or google or firefox. I let them amass this data and now they are witholding it from me, the person who created all the passwords on chosen sites.

Im on the verge of ranting so ill stop now.

 

Is this different versions of Firefox or is it multiple instances of firefox.exe in Task Manager?

 

Good Question - I'm still trying to find out. The problem is that all of this is happening at the same time I just got a new phone so I'm not finding my way around too quickly. Once I have a better answer I'll come back and update here. Thanks.
