Now I love Firefox and I'll stick with it no matter what, but there is one problem that annoys me. Sometimes, certain webpages won't display properly. For example, CNN's site has red and blue in it and sometimes those colors don't show up, the font size of the page gets bigger, and the layout is just all out of place. Has anybody experienced this before? Thanks.

Some sites are optimized for Internet Explorer, which doesn't conform to W3C standards. When W3C compliant browsers access these pages, they don't display properly. It's not a problem with FF, it's the page itself.

If that's the case then why does it work at times and sometimes not?

When I have an issue similiar to this I go to tools/option/ and clear cookies and cache. and it usually does the trick. My main prob is the look of yahoo mail which is generally resloved by the above actions.

I frequent the CNN website on a daily basis and mine displays correctly... Did you ever install any plug ins? In Tools >Options > Web Features I have Enable Java Script checked off (not Enable Java) and i've also installed some plugins to make things display correctly...

Try installing Macromedia Flash Player, as well as Shockwave Flash...

    Just an idea.....
I use a FireFox Extension when I come across a website that doesn't want to display properly in FireFox. It's a quick and easy way to view the site in Internet Explorer using right click on your mouse.

    Quoted from website

    "IE View"
Adds "View page in Internet Explorer" links to the content and link context menu. Handy for previewing pages in IE, loading up IE-only pages when you run across them in Mozilla, etc.

    Hope this helps!
