Firefox locks up comptuer

    Any idea about this?

    Sometimes When I open Firefox it locks up windows and I have to reset my computer. It only started doing this recently.

    I'm going to flush my Firefox profile and start over.

    I tested for bad ram and that isn't the case. Only program that seems to crash is Firefox.

    Try uninstalling and reinstalling if flushing does not work.

    Did you also recently upgrade any other software? Reason I ask: since this thread, I've kind of been walking on eggshells...

    Also read your Anti virus can cause it. Mine has real time scanning. NOD32 4 is what I have

    Well I went ahead and reinstalled windows and it seems to fixed my locking up pc issue.
