    Hi!

I had used "System Restore" because I thought I messed up my computer with a program that's beyond my knowldge. (
    Probably a stupid decision, lol.

Prior to the System Restore, FireFox worked great. Now, it won't function at all. I've tried re-installing, but when I open it, just a blank screen appears and not able to click on anything, like as if it's frozen. Same thing happens when I try it in FireFox Safe Mode.

I've tried scanning with AdAware, Spybot, Spyware Blaster, Microsoft AntiSpyware, and Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool. I also tried, AVG AntiVirus scan, Crap Cleaner, and Regseeker.

Did I screw it up really bad? Thanks for any help. I'm a devoted FireFox user, so I'm missing it pretty bad!
    :(

    Uninstall/Reinstall FireFox

Please print out these instructions so that you can operate with
    All Browser Windows CLOSED.

    Do the following:

    1. Uninstall Firefox using Add or Remove Programs from the Control Panel.

    2. Enable viewing of hidden files and folders and extensions. Start Windows Explorer and click on your main hard drive, usually c:\. Then select Tools from the top of Windows Explorer and then Folder Options. Go to the View tab. Scroll down to the folder icon that says Hidden files and folders and check show hidden files and folders. Also, right below this option, uncheck the hide file extensions for known types. Also for Win NT, 2000, & XP systems, uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.

    3. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox <--- Delete the Entire folder

    4. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\%USER%\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox <--- Delete the Entire folder

NOTE: %USER% is the user account you are deleting the folder from. Delete that folder from all user accounts.

    5. Close Windows Explorer.

    6. Now click-on Start -> Run

    7. Type regedit, hit enter

    8. Navigate to the following registry keys:

    Thanks! I'll print this out.

Question though, I looked in my Control Panel, FireFox isn't listed, eventhough I had tried installing it tonight.

The Uninstaller is located in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\uninstall. If it doesn't exist the continue with manually removal of Firefox.
