Firefox page forward/back arrows missing

I have used firefox for years. For some reason this morning, the entire line at the top of the page which contains the page forward/back arrows, the page refresh arrows, the stop page load arrow, the the URL field is gone . i tried hitting F11 twice to get it back, that didnt work. I downloaded firefox again and reinstalled, and that didnt work. If i wanted to enter a URL into the URL field, I cant do it because it does not exist . I dont know whats going on, this is the first time i have seen this happen in the many years I have used firefox .
Has this happened to anyone else ?

 

Right-click the toolbar, check Navigation Toolbar; if that doesn't fix it, repeat but choose Customise > Restore Default Set.

 

Ok i got the problem with the toolbar fixed, and now what I suspect is the virus problem Im having is preventing both Firefox AND IE from accessing the internet . I am using our other, older computer right now .Thanks for your help, guys, there is DEFINITELY some sort of virus causing these problems on the other computer, the one I have been posting about . It cannot be normal for Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, and Firefox to be downloading files ffrom the internet, during periods of time that i am away from the computer, and nobody is using or even touching the computer for any reason at all.
Niether IE or Firefox are able to even load their home pages, much less any other site. I try to load them, and the screen stays blank, it is not loading about:blank, it says at the bottome left that the page is loading, then switches to "done" yet nothing appears on the screen.
Weird.

Restarted the computer and browsers working ok.
