is there any way to make my computer use firefox instead of IE when I open an link. For instance I use MSN to check my hotmail, but I want to use IE. Same for links in instant messaging?

When you open FF, it should ask if you want to set as default browser, click yes. If it does not ask, there is an option in Edit > Preferences in an open browser window. IE has it in Tools > Internet Options, if you want to switch back. ;)

That's fine for setting the default browser for general web surfing, but for Micro$$oft apps like MSN Messenger I doubt you could.

I may be wrong as I don't use FireFox, but I would be surprised if you could.
