Firefox speed

Hello techie's...

I'm currently using FF 3.5.6. Will Fasterfox run o.k with it?

The page states I need 1.5 or 2.0 Huh?!? rolleyes

This lil' app. is a diamond in the rough.
It's knocked off about 10,000k RAM. (I'm using FF 3.5.6)
I really recommend it to any1 using FF (including beta test's)

I concur with Dom. All it will do is reduce the RAM used within the browser, possibly neglecting other running processes.

Whilst on face-book I DO notice the odd screen freeze but I think that has more to do with the site & it's java, everywhere else seems fine. But then as Dom says if you're runnung an older machine you could encounter some prob's.

MemFox is the name of the app. & Doms been kind enough to put the link up for you. (read through it first & be sure your OS is windows)

N.B. I didn't bother with FasterFox in the end.

 

Another application that might help is Firetune, it tweaks the setting in FF.
