Firefox to IE7

okay so i designed a website and tested it in firefox.
it works great.

when i view it in IE it looks bad the worst part is the red header images.
please help.

It actually looks fine to me in FF, IE6 and IE7. Did you change something since you posted?

 

Well, I really know next-to-nothing about web design, but I ran it in both browsers, and I think it looks GREAT! Very impressive! I am very soon to be in the market to pay a web-developer - I will CERTAINLY keep you in mind!

Sorry i just recently got it to work in IE but in fire fox i now have a problem with the content box on the right.
the red header now has no ends on either side, or the whole box does not have the boarder image. its not that big of a thing i just would like it to work.

and no i am not advertising, i rely quite frankly am embarrassed to post here because i as a web designer should be able to fix it you know?

You shouldn't be embarrased to learn... Especially in a field like computers that is changing on a daily basis. I know professional computer techs that use forums and google to find solutions to problems. You can't remember everything, and you can't learn everything. It's a process with no end.

As far as your website, I cannot find any obvious problems. I'm using IE7 on Vista.
