Does anyone know anything about this software? I've been having trouble with it.
I recently downloaded this so I can download musical numbers from an old TV show that are not available anywhere for purchase.
The instructions on their website said it could also translate the videos to MP3 music files, but when I tried that, it said I had to register to be able to work that function. (It did seem to work for downloading video files, tho).
So I went ahead and paid to register it, but it still wouldn't work.
I went to their FAQ and didn't see anything that applied to me.
Then I went to their support page and went thru a list of questions that didn't apply either, so it said to go to their support forum.
Whenever I click that support forum link, it always times out, no matter whether I'm on my home PC or work PC.
Does anyone know how to get this software to work or how to get thru to their forum?

Did you also read The Manual

Did you enter the Registration code you received by email? if you didn't receive the email then check your email Spam folder
From the Manual
It's not just you, Down For Everyone Or Just Me says the site @ http://forum.downloadhelper.net/ is down

I haven't looked at the entire manual yet. In my experience, if my questions aren't answered in their troubleshooting section, then they don't usually have the answers elsewhere in the manual, either. But I'll check it out.

I did click the registration code that came in my email, but it wasn't clear to me whether it did anything. When it wasn't able to convert the video to an mp3 audio file, I thought it didn't work, so I tried to look for "Register Conversion" in "DownloadHelper Menus", but I didn't see any menus (but maybe that's because the registration worked, I don't know). Maybe the manual will tell me where to find the menus.

I do this a lot with a free tool.
Pazera Free Audio Extractor http://www.pazera-software.com/products/audio-extractor/
I use VLC to record sections of movies with songs then extract the audio from the video as mp3.
I download YouTube flv files then convert to mp3.
I put the mp3 files on my SanDisk Clip+ mp3 players.

I use DLH a lot and I've used this website dozens of times (I don't/didn't download the plugin, I just use the website) to convert my .flv to .mp3 and it works great every time. Downloads are always clean.

I also use this website a lot too, to convert other types of media.
