Firefox Window Size

I'm Currently Running:
Win XP Pro SP2 & Firefox 1.5.0.1

I had somthing happen to Firefox and Lost all my Bookmarks. Searched this forum and found out how to get them back. (Rename the directory for the default user)

The other minor annyance is when ever I open Firefox it does not remeber the window size I colsed it at. I ussally do not like it full size. (about 60% of my screen. Iresize it and Close and It always opens to About 95% of my screen.

When I go Into the shortcut and look into how it opens its set to Run "Normal window"

Any suggestions on how to make it rember the window size each time I open it.

My other programs seem to work fine.

To force windows to remember Firefox's window size.

• 
  [li]Open Firefox
  [li]adjust the window size to the setting you like
  [li]hold the ctrl key down while closing the window

 

Thanks, I Tried that and It doesn't seem to work.
Any other Suggestions?

Try the same thing but hold down the shift key instead of the ctrl key. Make sure this is your only instance of Firefox open.
