firefox won't open

    it keeps telling me to close the existing firefox process but i don't have it running even if i restart the computer and try to open the browser it happens anyone know how to fix this?

    i tried reinstalling firefox and all that already, didn't work...

    When it tells you to close Firefox, bring up the Task Manager and see if firefox.exe is running under the processes tab. If it is, end that process, and then try opening Firefox.

    I've requested this thread be moved to the software forum as it has no relevance to networking :)
