I am new so before I begin, hello to all.

I live in Canada and have been watching BBC iPlayer and ITV, I have used free VPN service, and managed quite well for a number of years now.

I am using Zenmate right now, and even though the UK and Canada is now premium, I am still using it for free. Recently FireFox did an update, as did flash player. All of a sudden last week - around May 24, when I logged into BBC iPlayer, I got to the program I wanted to watch, and when I clicked on the button to watch, after a bit of "looking for the program", a message comes up that says " this content doesn't seem to be working" try again, which I do and the same message comes up. I know that Zenmate is still working, as I can watch ITV, if I turn Zenmate off, then both BBC and ITV says I cannot watch the programs as I am niot in the UK.... sees my Canadian IP address.

This only happens in Firefox, and until my copy of Zenmate undated itself in Chrome last week, I was able to watch BBC iPlayer and ITV.

I think this is possibly an issue with flashplayer and Firefox, but not 100%. I have tried deleting the BBC website and reloading it, but still doesn't work.

    I am using Firefox 38 beta 1.

Any ideas?, Firefox haven come up with an answer yet.
    Cheers

Firefox has blocked Flashplayer 17 because of a vulnerability.

Get and use the Flashplayer UN-Installer and after removing Flash 17, download and install Flash 18, which is bug free.

I carry the uninstaller and new Flash 18 on my Utilities CD so I can fix the problem on my customer's PC's.

    Good Luck,

PS: Never use the Beta Test versions of any browser. Eh?

The Flash ESR version is the real stable release, currently v13 but they're pushing Beta trials to move to a v18 ESR release during August:
Download links about 3/4 of the way down this page: https://www.adobe.com/in/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

If Zenmate in Chrome and Firefox are having issues with the BBC site, then it's likely because the Beeb have changed something at their end.

You could also try reverting FF to the version that last worked (though the Beta version may already have changed settings within your FF Profile).
