I have FireFox 45.7.1 and I have it set to Auto LonIn to get my E Mail.

I wanted to know how can I have FireFox show me my Password?

Because when I am on my Tablet I have to LogIn to the E Mail server on the net to get my Mail. And yes I forgot the Password.

 

Options > Security > Logins

I have to say how do you forget a password that you use on a daily basis?

 

That's why most people use a secure Password Manager, either built in ones as in Firefox or separate ones. It has long been standard security advice not to use the same PW for all log ins. If a user does use the same one if it is hacked then every one of your log ins are compromised. And remembering several off by heart is a bit much.

 

I have a ton of passwords I don't remember. They are in two places, in notes on my iPhone and as macros on my keyboard. I have a que card that has a list like MG-1, FC-2, YM-3, etc so I know what macro applies to what password. The macros are encrypted on the HDD so things are reasonably secure and VERY fast. I do not know most of my passwords, only what macro to press. If you can remember a password, it's probably not complex enough to be secure.
