Firefox

Anyone try it yet?I went on their site,and almost pulled the trigger,but I'm wondering does anyone use it?if so are you happy with it,what do you think versus IE.Thanx..

 

Plenty of people use it, and plenty of people use both. Most are very happy with it.

There have been numerous recent threads on the subject.

 

I reluctantly started using it half a year ago when I had some problems with IE, and changing browser was the quickest solution at the time... It took less than one evening of browsing and I was hooked. There is a huge debate on whether it is a safer browser or not. I don't give a damn, I use it because it is better. What I like most about it is the tabbed browsing. Very handy, especially when shopping for technical stuff on the internet, I don't end up with 30 open windows anymore... I also took some time to go through the different extensions, and there are a few simple but very handy tools that just makes browsing a little bit easier.

As insomniac said, there have been many threads about FF lately, run a search on the forum on Firefox, and see what you come up with.

Many millions of people use Firefox. I use it, and adware, spyware, and viruses getting in have been reduced to almost nothing compared to IE. And tabbed browsing is handy, too.

 

Love firefox.. wouldn't use anything but.

 

It will all change when loads of people use FF and it becomes the new challenge,unless they actually hate microsoft?LOL!
