OK, i was having a problem with internet explorer giving me little red x in white boxes where images are suppose to be. So i reinstalled internet explorer same thing. So then i reinstalled mozilla, Now..where those boxes were, I can still see them, but everytime i get into mozilla it always has an error that says illegal operation in plug in...something about shockwave. So i click the box do not show this again, and then a minute later, system error comes up, and it says firefox encountered a problem and needs to close... Same thing every single time, I use it....Please Help

    Uninstall both Shockwave and Flash
    Then download and run CCleaner
Now reinstall and see how that comes out

You will have to run CCleaners registry cleaner, then when it asks "Create Back-up" click yes, it will bring up a new file name check save then it will return a screen that says "Fix Problems" click yes, it will reprompt click yes, then yes reboot

CCleaner has two major cleaning options one is your temp/internet files, the other is the registry, the registry one cleans out old registry enteries that "uninstall" fails to do. Hope that helps

In ccleaner, click on the "issues" button on the left hand side, that should bring up the registry cleaner.
