FireGL3100 (PCIE) or Radeon 9800Pro (AGP4x)?

OK ... in light of my mobo/lan issues, I'm considering just replacing the motherboard ... unfortunately, it seems as if all the new boards are PCI-E only for graphics ...

I DO happen to have a (pre-official release) Fire GL 3100 PCI-E x16 ... but I'm wondering how it compares to my older AGP4x Radeon 9800 Pro.

It appears similar, but I know that video cards designed for WORK have a completely different set of specs than the ones that are designed for "HOME" or entertainment systems.

*note -- I am NOT a "gamer", but I would be using the system for watching video & possibly editing at a later date*

Any opinions? I can't seem to find the specs on the Windows version of the Radeon on ATI's site anymore ... & the FireGL 3100 is old enough as well that a direct comparison is proving tricky.

    Thanks in advance!
