Firewall-Email problems

    I have recently installed Bitdefender on two of my machines. However on one machine i can't receive emails, but on the other i can(i'm able to send emails on the machine that i can't recieve emails on btw). So i turned off bitdefender on the machine i couildn't recieve emails on, and i still couldn't get it to recieve emails. I'm using Outlook Express, and i know there is some kind of firewall blocking but i can't figure out what it is, any help would be great thanks!

    Do you have a firewall, if so what one, have you also disabled it to test if that is actually whats blocking the email?

    Which version Bitdefender you installed and on which version Windows?

    Open the BitDefender console by double clicking on the BitDefender system tray icon > Go to Antivirus > Uncheck the Scan incoming mail option ... does that make a difference?
